Tuition
The 2nd payment period is upon us. Please drop off tuition payments at the studio over the next week. If you have questions on the amount due, please email rsb.corvallis@gmail.com
Thanksgiving
The studio will be closed for classes 11/22, 11/23, & 11/24 for Thanksgiving. Nutcracker rehearsal are scheduled for Friday 11/23 & Saturday 11/24. Please let your rehearsal mistress know in advance if your family will be out of town, or email rsb.corvallis@gmail.com. If emailing, please indicate name, role and rehearsal time.
Studio Store
Our students look great in their new uniforms! If you need dancewear, stop by the RSB studio store where you can purchase class leotards and skirts, tights and soon our RSB t-shirt. The RSB store is open Wednesdays & Thursdays from 6:00 – 7:30. A big THANKS to Isabella for organizing the store!
2012 Nutcracker
We’re mid-way through the rehearsals for the 2012 Corvallis Nutcracker. It’s shaping up to be a great show! Think you’ve seen it all before? Just wait until you see the new choreography for Snow and Arabian. And Rainbow Dance will be back again this year to perform the Russian variation.
In addition to the dancer’s hard work, we need all our parent’s help. There are a number of way that you can volunteer. Time commitment varies by task and there’s a perfect way for you to help out. Sign up sheets are posted at the studio. Check them out next time you’re in the studio and see what you can do to make this year’s Nutcracker a success.
Tickets for this year’s show will be available mid-November at Bursts Candies at 353 SW Madison, Corvallis and are $15. Performances are December 7th at 7:30 and December 8th at 2:00 and 7:30 at the Corvallis High School Theater 1400 Buchanan St Corvallis. Visit the Nutcracker News page for updates!
Mouse King Tea Party
Can’t make it to the performance? Join us for the Mouse King Tea Party, a great event for younger audiences. The tea will be Saturday December 8th from 12:00 – 1:30 and will include a chance to meet the characters, watch a condensed version of The Nutcracker and have tea. Tickets are just $8 and will be available at Burst’s Candiesat 353 SW Madison in Corvallis.
Come support this unique and fantastic community event as a dancer or an audience member!
Get your RSB T-Shirt!
It’s not too late to get your RSB T-Shirt. T-Shirts will be pink with black lettering saying: Regional School of Ballet/Poised and to the Pointe circling the studio logo. Order forms are available at the studio or download T-Shirt Order Form and bring it in. T-Shirts are available in Children’s sizes ($12) and Adult short ($13) and long sleeve ($17) sizes.
